With the BAMBI, Hubert Burda Media honors people with visions and creativity, whose exceptional accomplishments were reflected in the media in the past year. Germanys most prestigious media award is therefore also a prize that recognizes a person’s popularity with the public.

Another widely known Burda award in animal shape is the GOLDEN HEN, presented by SUPERillu in Berlin. Inventions are at the core of an idea contest, whose winners are rewarded with the Future Award (“Zukunftspreis”). The magazine also supports the most innovative Eastern-German entrepreneurs with a Start-up Award (“Existenzgründerpreis”). And also every year, readers and users of GUTER RAT magazine vote for the "Most Sensible Car" (“Auto der Vernunft”), an audience award honoring sustainable vehicles and innovative engineering solutions.

The New Faces Award is presented to the most promising young talents in fashion or film. Since 1998, BUNTE awards the Red Panther.

CINEMA presents the long-standing JUPITER award, which pays tribute to the best TV and cinema films as well as favorite stars and directors of the year. EMIL by TV SPIELFILM acknowledges the best children’s entertainment on TV.

The Felix Burda Foundation honors projects and accomplishments in the field of colon cancer prevention with the Felix Burda Award. While the Petrarca Award celebrates a feast of poetry once a year, leading women of the digital world are presented with the Aenne Burda Award at the DLD digital conference.
